In a 4-episode documentary mini-series, Brazilian superstar, actress and producer, Ingrid Guimarães investigates one of the biggest challenges in the lives of the overwhelming majority of women: balancing motherhood with a professional life. Being able to perform the two activities is a challenge that goes beyond age, social class or access to cutting-edge solutions. Certain professions bring specific challenges: how do mothers who work night shifts manage to take care of their kids? And when the profession involves risk, endless shifts or other hurdles? In a world that increasingly questions women's roles in society, are we doing enough to ensure that mothers can have a fulfilling life as a professional and a healthy relationship with their children? During a series of honest conversations with recent and future mothers who remain in the job market, Ingrid uses her own experience to question a dilemma that crosses generations.
